Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 3, 2026
ItsReal.media GmbH is committed to making its digital offerings accessible to all users. We align our work with the requirements of EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Conformance Level AA.
1. Scope
This statement applies to the following digital offerings of ItsReal.media GmbH:
- Marketing website: itsreal.media
- Web application (SaaS): app.itsreal.media
2. Description of the Service
ItsReal.media GmbH offers a SaaS solution for the analysis of visual content. Users can upload a single image file or a batch of files. The system typically processes the content within a few seconds and provides a report that includes a classification (e.g., "real", "AI-generated" and/or "AI-modified"), a confidence score, and additional result information.
The web application also provides a history of previously analysed images, including access to individual reports.
Note: API functionalities are not separately described in this statement and can be added as needed.
3. Classification under the BFSG
Our offerings are currently exclusively aimed at business customers (B2B) and are only accessible by invitation or contractual agreement. According to the guidance of the Federal Centre for Accessibility (Bundesfachstelle Barrierefreiheit), purely B2B services should generally not be subject to the BFSG (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz - German Accessibility Strengthening Act).
Furthermore, ItsReal.media GmbH considers itself to fall under the exception for microenterprises (fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover of no more than EUR 2 million). Regardless of this, we pursue the goal of continuously improving the accessibility of our offerings.
4. Status of Compliance with Requirements
Partially Accessible
The digital offerings listed above are currently partially accessible. A full audit against all success criteria - including screen reader tests with various assistive technologies - has not yet been completed. Accordingly, individual accessibility barriers cannot be ruled out.
5. Preparation of the Statement / Evaluation Method
This statement was prepared on March 3, 2026.
The assessment was carried out through self-evaluation, based in particular on:
- Keyboard tests of key usage flows (navigation and operability)
- Automated testing (including Lighthouse)
6. Non-Accessible Content / Known Limitations
We currently have no specific, reproducible blockers in the core flows (login and dashboard use) as identified by the self-tests mentioned above. Nevertheless, the following applies:
- Assistive Technologies (Screen Readers): A comprehensive compatibility test (e.g., NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver) has not yet been fully carried out. As a result, limitations in semantic structure or dynamic UI updates cannot be ruled out.
- Third-Party Components (Login/Signup): Components from external providers (e.g., identity providers) may be used for parts of the authentication process. Their accessibility is partly outside our direct area of influence.
- Future Content: To the best of our current knowledge, no PDF downloads, video content, or complex third-party embeds are part of the offering. Should such content be added, we will include it in the accessibility review and provide alternatives where necessary.
7. Report Barriers / Feedback
If you notice any barriers in our digital offerings or require information on accessibility, please contact us:
